Ahead of International Women’s Day #IWD2021 The Watergate Theatre presents Opera Gala with Montserrat Martí Caballé in partnership with Third Row.

Soprano Montserrat Caballé and tenor Bernabé Martí are two of the greatest known singers in opera’s history. Montserrat Martí Caballé is the daughter of both Montserrat Caballé and Bernabé Martíthese from whom she inherited her deep love, respect and talent for opera.

Opera Gala with Montserrat Martí Caballé will take you on a journey through the world of Opera and Spanish Zarzuela. Enjoy a selection of  opera’s most fascinating solos and duets, including Giacomo Puccini’s “Oh mio babbino caro”, “La ci darem la mano” by W.A. Mozart and “Largo al Factotum” by G. Rossini.

You will also hear a number of Spanish works such as “Me llaman la primorosa” by Giménez, “Todas las mañanitas” by Penella and pieces by Manuel de Falla and Federico Garcia Lorca.
