Rarely Seen Above Ground is a storm of sound and an explosion of percussion mixed with hypnotic music and unique visuals! The one man show of sound, visuals and incredible rhythm will headline Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre on Saturday, 25th September.
Known to his friends as Jeremy Hickey, R.S.A.G. has gained a reputation not only as one of Europe's most impressive drummers but as a celebrated producer and a talented showman.
Hickey’s most recent album ‘Chromas’ was released in May 2020 and is coined as his finest collection of work to date.
Rising Indie, Punk rockers The Wha are Finn Cusack, Sam Cullen, Marek Lech and Abe G. Harris. Childhood friends, Cusack and Cullen forged a songwriting partnership at just 15 years-old when they met in primary school. Influenced by The Beatles, Brian Wilson, Bob Dylon and more, The Wha will join a stellar lineup at the equally stellar lineup at Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre on Saturday, 25th September. Davey Long is a songwriter and a multi-instrumentalist who is well
known in the Irish music scene. He has appeared on several albums
including Celtic Woman’s GRAMMY nominated Destiny, The
Fundamentals Past and Present Collide, Edisons Little Bohemia, The
Kilkennys The Colour Of Freedom, Emma Langford’s Sowing Acorns and
The Barnets’ forthcoming LP. Davey co-wrote On The Carousel for Drops Of
Green and the song went on to win an ASLR Celtic Music Award.
As a member of The Kilkennys, Davey wrote for the band and toured
extensively worldwide. He has performed at many prestigious music
festivals including Milwaukee Irish Fest, Zwarte Cross, Temple Bar Tradfest
and Smithwicks Source in support of Bob Dylan
OH BRYAN are a rock band from Kilkenny. Steve and Shane the songwriters attended CBS Kilkenny where they met in music class. When they play live they are joined by two session musicians making it a 4 piece rock band.
Both have been writing music and recording since 2016. In 2021 they released a new EP titled "My kind of beautiful".
Previously to the pandemic they toured the country with Aslan playing venues all over Ireland including The Olympia, and the INEC Arena.
Eclectic in both personality and repertoire, ALCHEMY is a six-piece female vocal group, with piano, based in Kilkenny, formed in late 2018.
Equally at home as soloists or creating their magic together, ALCHEMY perform a diverse catalogue of material, from Guns ‘n’ Roses to Bowie, Fleetwood Mac to Queen - all in the unique ALCHEMY style.

The Screws are a five piece indie/alternative rock band based in and around Kilkenny. They have been playing together for almost two years and released their debut single Perfect Chemistry in June 2021. Self produced by the band, the single went to No. 1 on the iTunes download chart. Their debut EP titled Take Vienna consisting of four originals was released on July 30th.
